ACQ010 – BuildCert non-haz inhibitor:
A highly effective scale and corrosion inhibitor formulated with both anodic and cathodic site passifiers. Operating at neutral pH, the product controls both ferrous and non-ferrous metal corrosion at elevated temperatures and under a variety of water conditions and flow velocities. Suitable for both heating and closed cooling/chilled water systems. The product does not contain metallic elements or phosphate.
ACQ011 – Nitrite with biocide and pink dye:
A concentrated nitrite blend corrosion inhibitor for closed recirculating heating and chilled water systems, containing a red/purple dye. ACQ011 is buffered to ensure stable pH conditions throughout the water system. A protective film is maintained on all metal surfaces by the ACQ011 treatment. This film is kept in constant repair providing the recommended treatment reserve is present in the water at all times.
ACQ030 – MEG:
- Industrial antifreeze agent – monoethylene glycol
- Provides frost protection in closed systems such as:
- Chilled water circuits
- Condenser circuits
- Heat rejection systems
- Seasonal/low use heating systems
- Systems should contain minimum 20% MEG
ACQ031 – MPG:
Antifreeze agent, suitable for incidental food contact.
ACQ012 – Biostatic high performance inhibitor:
A new and novel product which provides excellent protection to multi-metal systems including aluminium. The product also contains a powerful scale prevention technology which helps maintain boiler performance at its optimum level. It can provide significant energy savings in hard water areas. Due to the way the product is formulated, biocide addition is not required to control bacteria growth; ACQ012 resists bacteria breakdown. Independently tested.
ACQ013 – Molybdate/nitrite concentrated inhibitor:
ACQ013 is a molybdate based anticorrosion system for the preservation of closed loops. The product contains a synergistic blend of molybdate and nitrite to provide corrosion protection to steel, copper and aluminium. ACQ013 also contains an azole to protect copper and brass. The product is buffered to help resist pH changes. This is particularly important for aluminium corrosion protection which requires pH to remain below 8.4. ACQ013 will greatly extend pipework life by reducing corrosion.
ACQ014 – Nitrite inhibitor:
ACQ014 is a formulated nitrite anticorrosion product for the preservation of multimetal systems without aluminium. ACQ014 provides protection to iron, copper, steel and brass. The product will disperse sludge in older systems and helps to prevent hot and cold spotting. ACQ014 can be used in any sealed or semi sealed system that requires corrosion protection, provided no aluminium components are present.
ACQ015 – Molybdate inhibitor:
ACQ015 is a molybdate based anticorrosion system for the preservation of closed loops. The product contains a synergistic blend of molybdate and inhibitor molecules to provide corrosion protection to steel, copper and aluminium. ACQ015 also contains an azole to protect copper and brass. ACQ015 is buffered to help resist pH changes. This is particularly important for aluminium corrosion protection which requires pH to remain below 8.4. This product will greatly extend pipework life by reducing corrosion.
ACQ015 contains a dispersant polymer to aid in the dispersion of sludge within old systems. This helps prevent hot and cold spotting. ACQ015 must not be mixed with nitrite based products.
ACQ016 Biocide
is a broad spectrum, non-foaming, readily biodegradable microbiocide for use in industrial closed heating and cooling systems. Effective against a range of micro-organisms, including many gram positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi and algae. Dose at 100 – 200 ppm based on system volume.
ACQ017 Biocide
ACQ017 is an extremely efficient and non oxidising microbiocide formulated for use in industrial cooling and chilled water systems. Based on active triazine derivatives, ACQ017 is effective against a broad spectrum of micro-organisms, including problematic slime forming aerobic bacteria, corrosion inducing sulphate reducing bacteria and algae. ACQ017 is suitable for use in closed systems and is effective against pseudomonas, NRB’s and SRB’s. Dose 300-500ppm based on system volume.
OXYL-PRO
OXYL-PRO is based on hydrogen peroxide which is stabilised with a unique blend of food safe ingredients. It is a very stable product and due to its microencapsulation process, will only act in the presence of organic materials, giving a much longer disinfection capability; no product is wasted. Oxyl-Pro offers an excellent environmentally safe alternative to silver peroxides. The result of the unique formulation is a mild but extremely effective disinfectant. OXYL-PRO is an approved EU biocides which also has the added benefit of NSF/ANSI 60 Certification for use in drinking water.
ACQ018
ACQ018 is a pre-commission system cleaner designed for use in multi-metal systems including aluminium. The chemistry used in the formulation provides excellent cleaning for use in new systems and for renovation cleaning. This product dissolves deposits rather just than loosening and entraining. This means that cleaning and flushing out is much easier, potentially saving labour time on site. Dose 1-4% depending on system condition.
ACQ019
Is a concentrated dispersant in liquid form containing for flushing systems contaminated with scale and iron oxide sludges. It is effective against a wide range of scalants such as calcium and magnesium hardness, iron oxide and silica. ACQ019 will gradually disperse old deposits and may be used as part of a ‘clean up’ programme. Dose 1-5%
ACQ020
is an excellent cleaning product for closed loop systems, operating at neutral pH. This product offers powerful cleaning and dispersing action and contains a biodispersant. This product is designed to remove loose corrosion deposits, dirt, particulate builder’s debris, loose hardness deposits, boss white, oils and flux. Normal dose 1-3%
ACQ021 & ACQ022
ACQ021 forms part of the combination products for passivation and inhibition of closed systems after cleaning. This system has been designed to create an economical but highly effective solution to systems which can otherwise be problematic. ACQ021 is used to create a rapid metal passivation layer on newly cleaned pipework, preventing flash corrosion and pH & iron level rise in newly commissioned systems. Once the system parameters are in control, ACQ022 can be added to provide full inhibition protection. There is no need to remove the nitrite passivator. ACQ021 and ACQ022 become a combined high performance molybdate/nitrite inhibitor, providing full system scale and corrosion control.
